Demeter

Demeter is the goddess of the harvest and agriculture, and is best known for being the mother of Persephone. She is fussy and over-protective of the people she loves, but absent minded and known to hold a strong grudge. Demeter is able to control the seasons, as well as any plants and the harvest. Her children are often natural cooks, and blessed with the ability to make anything grow. Demeter's blessing can include chlorokinesis and protection from the harshness of the seasons. Her symbol is the cornucopia, and when a camper is claimed, it is usually with plants which sprout at their feet.

Famous sons and daughters of Demeter include Eli Whitney and Persephone.

Demeter’s children reside in Cabin 4, with a real grass roof and tomatoes, roses and wild flowers growing on the wall.
